Sounding as beautiful as she looks.
Feeling mellow this morning. This sun is creeping out and it seems as if it might be a fine day. So in keeping with the mood I'm going to feature a beautiful track from Melissa Young. This has a gentle, insightful, sensitive lyric about a woman's fear of giving in to a sexual encounter for the wrong reasons. It's all about the uncertainty of being just a one night stand not something longer lasting. Powerfully emotional stuff and soulfully delivered. It's all about the words so take them in.
Rock With Me is from her second album (?) Just Up The Road (2007). Information about Ms. Young is sparse. She has a website which does not supply much by way of information. This much, however, is true: she is a talent that is scarcely known over here but anyone acquiring her album will be seriously impressed. The songs that make up the album are superbly crafted. Enjoy something wonderful.
Just as I wrote, yeh? Fabulously thought provoking Soul from the Deep South and laying it all out from a woman's perspective. Ok. if you want to get a sight of the lady then the promo video of Just A Girl, which is the opening track from the album, should whet your appetite for more.
Her album Just Up The Road is still available but like CD albums will become a deleted supply. Get it now and don't delay otherwise you will have the lesser quality of a download instead. Links supplied to some of the more obvious sources.
Try Amazon U.K or Amazon U.S. For Downloads /CD try CDBaby
Just one plea Ms. Young! Please update us about what you're currently doing. Especially via your website. We want to spread word of your talent far and wide and break you to a wider public. Update please. We're really interested.
You can also try her on Myspace.
